In 1569 a Flemish geographer and cartographer by the name of Gerardus Mercator can up with a mathematical equation to project a cylindrical map onto a flat surface, known as a Mercator Projection, and has been used ever since to generate flat rectangular maps of our planet, commonly seen as a World Map. The same mathematical equation is used to generate 360° fully immersive images and with a simple reversal of the equation in a specially developed Flash application this gives the viewer the impression that they are standing in the centre of the image, with the ability to turn and view in any direction.

We use professional photographic equipment and the latest techniques in digital photography to create sharp high quality 360° images that can be viewed from top to bottom.
These panoramas can be interlinked to generate a Virtual Tour, maps can be used to give a better location of where the viewer is standing and even video or sound clips are among the possibilities.

How does it work?
Our panoramas are created from 5 or 6 consecutive images taken from the same location capturing images in all directions including the vertical axis. We assemble these pictures into a panorama using the latest stitching software, we then programme them into a Flash viewer enabling them to be viewed on almost any PC.
